Caretaker Arrangements
On 19 July 2010 the Australian Government assumed a caretaker role, with an election to be held on 21 August 2010.

Scammers have been posing as Government staff calling or emailing people claiming they're entitled to money or offering cash and other prizes for participating in a survey.
Australian Government departments will never contact you by phone or email to ask for payment to receive money or to offer incentives to take part in surveys.
